ATTORNEY PROFILES

Gavin was born and reared in Honolulu, Hawai'i, graduating from McKinley High School, and receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Reed College in Portland, Oregon, and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Denver College of Law in Denver, Colorado.  Previously, Gavin has worked with the Child Support Enforcement Agency and the SAVD Domestic Violence Clinic.

In his spare time, Gavin coaches high school mock trial students -- over the last twelve years, he has coached teams at McKinley, Campbell, and Castle High Schools.  He also volunteers time with the Young Lawyers Division of the Hawai'i State Bar Association, Volunteer Legal Services of Hawaii, and the Volunteer Guardian Ad Litem Program.  Gavin is a member of  the  Hawaii State Bar Association and the HSBA Family Law Section, and was presented with the 2002 Justice Award by the Hawaii State Bar Association, which honors one lawyer annually for their outstanding contribution to the ideals of justice.  Gavin has extensive experience in divorces, paternities, child custody, child support, restraining orders, and other family law matters. Kendal was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai'i, and graduated from the Kamehameha Schools.  He received his Bachelor of Arts in History from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, and his Juris Doctorate from the Texas A&M Law Center at the South Texas College of Law in Houston, Texas.

Kendal is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association and the Bankruptcy Section of the Bar.  He is also a member of the Bradley University Chapter of Delta Tau Delta.  Kendal is an experienced litigator, negotiator, and draftsman in the fields of both family law and bankruptcy.
